    Power BI offers a number of different licensing options, which are discussed in this video. All users of Power BI need one of two types of licence: Power BI Free or Power BI Pro.

    A Power BI Free licence on its own is not useful in most organisations because it does not allow you to share any content with other people, or have content shared with you. A Power BI Pro licence does everything that Power BI Free does and also, crucially, does allow you to share content with other people and have content shared with you. However, if you buy Power BI Premium then only content creators need Power BI Pro licences and those users who only want to view content can use a Power BI Free licence.
