Rafal will keynote (click here to download the keynote PPT) at the opening of the prestigious 2011 Asia Rise Microsoft Industry User Group in Phuket, Thailand on 1st Nov. This pan-Asian conference brings CEOs, CIOs, and other industry leaders of the continent’s largest corporations to exchange ideas about the role and impact of IT in the rapid growth of Asian industry. Following his keynote, Rafal will present a session on Business Intelligence for Process Manufacturing, and will lead a panel discussion about BI in Retail and Consumer industries on 2nd Nov.

TechEd Russia is the largest technology-focused conference in that part of the world, taking place in Moscow 9–10 Nov 2011. Rafal will present, for the first time, his brand new session on the future of Microsoft BI, focusing on BISM (BI Semantic Model), PowerPivot 2, and SQL Server 2012 Analysis Services. Naturally, SQL Server 2012 Reporting Services and Power View will also star in this new presentation, which Rafal plans to present at other venues throughout 2012.
